Former Let's Wrestle front man Wesley Gonzalez proves he can go it alone with his weird and wonderful new solo track 'I Am A Telescope'.  A strangely upbeat cut from his upcoming debut album 'Excellent Musician' (due out June 30th on Moshi Moshi), 'I Am A Telescope' is a surreal combination of wonky synthesizers and whimsical lyrics with a dark side. There is a sense of something sinister lurking as Gonzalez openly admits his own anxieties about life and the future, "I'm scared of growth, I'm scared of change, I'm scared of life, I'm scared of my own name." Luckily, the promise of new romance is enough to lighten the mood. Wesley Gonzalez plays a headline show at The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington on the 4th of May. - HM
